Low spots, steep slopes, and uneven grades can be the source of many problems for a property, drainage issues, and difficult maintenance to name a couple. It can also keep you from getting the most out of your outdoor space.

Regrading is the process of changing the slope and level of the ground to better suit your needs. Usually, this is done with a combination of machine and hand work. Any regrading work should be followed up by the installation of new plantings or other erosion control to prevent further problems.

Why Regrade? Regrading can be the solution to a multitude of issues.

Basement flooding? The grade around your foundation may be pitched inward, forcing water to collect along the foundation walls.

Soggy lawn? Steep slopes elsewhere in your property may be causing water to collect in low spots, leading to swamp areas.
Erosion or collapsing hillside? Sometimes, a slope simply degrades due to weight and exposure. Regrading can correct the slope and stop the deterioration.
